    ? about moving engine

    If i were to move the engine forward a bit (needing some more room to get some frozen bolts off the exhaust tubes on my volvo 290a) What would I risk messing up? If anyting at all? But I'm thinking I'd lose gimbal alignment?

    volvo raw water pump housing removal

    I'm trying to remove my raw water pump housing in my volvo 290a. Its in a tight spot and I can't see how its fastened in there. I got the one bolt out of the bottom of it. I'm trying to get to my balancer bolt so I can turn the engine over.

    I currently have a 290a drive. Is that a much better drive than a 280 drive? Can I swap a 280 drive where my 290 is now? Is it possible to put a 280 lower unit on a 290a upper?

    trouble going into reverse

    Just this past week I have been having problems getting into reverse, as in, it will go in like 5% of the time. It goes into forward no problem every time. I presume I have to adjust the shift cables somehow? What do I need to do?
