    I am looking or going to look at an 1986 four winns deck boat with a 4cyl 170hp merc. the ad states needs coupler and from my dinking around with these. i am wondering which coupler ? the old round style ? or the triangle style ? i realize i still have to pull engine but i live in the middle...

    120hp 4cyl water coming from starter/gimbal area

    83 searay seville 120 hp 4cyl rec'd this for payment for other work done --i have it running but when hooked to muffs and running, water is coming from back inside bell housing somewhere before i pull i assume there is a frost plug in there ? or something else should be concerned with ? thanks

    testing power pack on 9.9 4 stroke

    i have come upon a 99 omc -evinrude- 9.9hp 4 stroke i went to cdi electronics.com for info but all i am finding for testing is 2-stroke !! does anyone know if testing is the same ? i would assume so except for rpm limiter ? or a DECENT price for one $$$ pretty spendy if you can even find one

    just picked up a nice ? 1999 -- 9.9 / 4 stroke no spark disconnected the safety kill still no spark any way to test ign module ? also getting to lower spark plug with cover on is a bugger !!!!!! tried to remove side cover but 1 bolt is buried

    Bfp60a 60hp honda 3 props still no help !!!!!!

    mercruiser pre alpha tilt/trim help

    trim gauge pegged in up position, pump / bottons. all work fine -- any way to test sending units ?and gauge , i would assume a voltmeter ? also port side is the up side ? do not know thats why i am asking thanks i-boats
