    I changed plugs yesterday and started her up. Ran fine I launched today and it won't start. I get home and investigate to find I have no spark on all 4. What is a quick way to check Power pack and what else should I look for. Seloc manual not much help...Damn thing!

    What the heck?!? Is champion failing me? Spark plug conductor corroded

    I accidentally broke the tip off a spark plug durring routine check and found the core of the plug was corroded through the length of the pin. How is this allowed to happen? No cracks were found in ceramic.

    My volt meter reads up to 16 v while running but only sometimes. The gauge works fine with testing. I feel this is a rectifier problem. Sound right?

    Decarbing 88spl getting mixed advice on how long to let soak...using Seafoam to do it

    I hear anywhere from 4 hours to overnight on decarb process. Any input on this? Also anybody see a problem using Seafoam? I have found it to be a wonderful product that saved me a carb. teardown just running it through fuel.

    Grease or no grease on spark plug wires at coils (88spl)

    I have remnants of what looks like old dielectric grease on spark wires at coils. At first I just thought that was a good thing but now I wonder. PO must have put it on but not at spark plug. I'm thinking I need to clean it up and go bare. Any input on this matter?

    still having prob with loosing power when hitting wave on 88 spl

    I've gone through all wiring, gooped up coils, and can't. Figure why I can sometimes run at5500 then hit a bump and drops to 4500 where it stays most of the time. Usually not a problem cuz I have to maximize fuel to get to camp and back so I only run at 3000 / 20 MPH Any ideas?

    88 spl sometimes gets a surge but if i hit a wave it backs down timing arm loose

    The bushing on the throttle can seems loose. The timing arm moves enough to advance it by hand. Could that bushing allow this to happen? Its a cheap part...just asking.

    Impeller won't free from drive shaft on 88spl. Any tricks to do this?

    After fighting with thermostats, lower unit bolts, **** rod stuck and other road blocks now I can't get impeller off of drive shaft. Steel housing/cup is off leaving impeller exposed but this baby aint budgin! Any ideas????????
