Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

Tengals.
Hi, we copped our first winter blast here last night with the temps down to -1 or 2 C but no lasting damage. By lunch time the temps were back above 12 C just a cool wind in the open.
The south end of the country is a little worse off but the tough can still go fishing.
My boat is snug in the garage at our beach home due east of here so hope to get a bit more progress this weekend as it is Queen's Birthday Weekend for us.
Hopefully I'll get some more pictures to post later.
Pete

All absolutely gorgeous Tengals but I think I prefer the purple glass to that brown glass. :p

You are gonna have one beautiful modern looking boat. The white with blue is sweet. I've also always been partial to the looks of the lapstrake hull. My family's first and only boat was a 14' Larson runabout with a lapstrake hull and a 40 hp Merc.

What's the tie between the upholstery and 'Dad'?

Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

thanks boomyal. I like the lapstrake hull design also. I might 'test' run the screen on the boat tomorrow. Dad helped me design the upholstery, before we gave it to the pro's to complete.

cheers

Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

tengles I certainly am impressed, you have accomplished a great deal of work in a short period of time. The boat looks very nice! Truely is a new boat now. Great job! Did you have much help to accomplish all this work or was it a solo project?

It's looking like time for breaking out the pina coladas. That back bench seat is just begging for some serious cruising and sipping. :D

Oh, of course the driver would not be participating. ;)

By the look of that upholstery, I pity the first person who tries to drag a slimy snapper aboard :D

Aldo

Re: Cruise Craft Restoration

ok, ok so ive been on holidays. :)
Did a little rock fishing, with some good results! Still prefer from a boat though.
Now, back to the boat. I have sprayed the trailer in aluminium rust guard epoxy. Tomorrow screen is on and, finaly chose my gunwale rub strip, looks nice. I shall have plenty of pics for all tomorrow.

Cheers
