I am a new/old boat Doral owner and thought for sure there would be a lot more chater in here then there is . Oh well maybe I should find someplace else to talk about my Doral :redface:




If at first you don't succeed just stand there looking at it and sooner or later someone willcome along and show you how to do it!!

Many don't know about this section and also many of the members here are US and Doral aint' that big in the States.

Agree. Not that many Doral owners out here. Don't go !!!! you only live a half hour or so away from me. Many folk as said do not know about this section unless directed to it.
This section was added after I requested it be included about 4 years ago.
Maybe we can do a little "advertising" in some of the other sections to try and get some more Doral folk in here.

What do you think ???

Haha! yeah, now that the cold season is upon us, we need to keep up the spirit (lol) until launch day...I think more boat pics are in order...I still haven't figured out how to ad them to these posts though I have a few good ones on my home page thingy.

Yeah, Being a Doral owner in California is kinda lonesome...

Most people here think 'Menthol Cigarette' when you mention Doral

But I have no complaints..shes a great boat so far. Lots of winter projects lined up to keep me busy with her.

I thinks he must be outside chillin with his Doral I was going to head up to the boatyard to visit mine but 2 broken ribs slowed me down...maybe next week. Do you keep yours at home Kenmyfam?

Our baby is tucked up at one side of the house full of downy sheets and mothballs. The travel trailer was backed down the other side of the house this afternoon. Real pain in the A** though as we have a fire hydrant "just" in the wrong place for a nice approach. Got there in the end though.

I've cornered the local market on DampRid buckets for all the enclosed spaces (Our boat is lounging, smartly, on the side of the house too) but what are the dryer sheets and mothballs for Seems like the odors would be...um...an interesting mix.

I've cornered the local market on DampRid buckets for all the enclosed spaces (Our boat is lounging, smartly, on the side of the house too) but what are the dryer sheets and mothballs for Seems like the odors would be...um...an interesting mix.

Mice and other small rodents do not like the smell apparently. Not too keen myself when I take the cover off in spring but the fragrance goes away when aired out for a day or so. Never had a rodent issue in the boat during the winter and have used this method since we have owned it. Travel trailer gets the downy sheets only inside and mothballs all over the place outside.
