Awesome! As silly as it sounds I kinda missed the little guys. I'd just like to say thanks to Bob, JB, QC, ezmobee, ladyfish, and any other mods I forgot for making sure iboats is the best forum what be. Give yourselves a raise out of petty cash.;)

Nope sorry. We are limited to what we have. I do know some of the vBulletin stuff has been disabled (way above where we all are) because it would interfere with the Store and advertising server. It's complicated so we "love the one your with" :D

Re: New Look

Yep, forum upgrade are always a pain. Got to learn the new stuff. Its not just iboats, its all the different forums I belong to. 6 or more auto forums, 5 or so boating forums, a few misc forums, etc. When they start changing, it really does get frustrating to have to re-learn some features, and figure out where the buttons went, etc.

Oh well, such is life.

Re: New Look

Picture clarification................. Stick with the smaller photo and it will not scroll but the larger is necessary to scroll

Use the 640 x 480 photo size and it does not screw up the forum............

640x480 is well and good, but isn't really large enough for seeing details, esp. in a resto. thread. It's all about pictures, and from what I've seen so far, it's taken a step backwards in that regard.

Hey webmaster,

Your panel with the login in it is right on top of your banner ad. And this is IE7 on a corporate machine so it's about as vanilla as it gets....

Forum needs a /facepalm smily.

Re: New Look

I did a search to see if I could find a thread simaler to this one from a previous upgrade but all I found was this...
http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=22104&highlight=software+upgrade

Can anyone with better search skills than me find a thread about a previous upgrade for my personal entertainment??

I'm just curious how much bellyaching there was over past threads.

Probably, because any criticism they don't want to hear they just delete...

My last two posts were deleted, for reasons unknown to me. I said said nothing that was false, and nothing that was offensive nor broke any rules... I just Chalk it up to not having a more extravagant post count and not being over the age of 50. Heck my last post was an offer to foot the bill for something... lol

If you read Rule #10, that should probably explain why some of your posts got deleted.
If you can actually understand what Rule 10 says, and that is obviously no certainty, that would explain why your current post is over the line, too. ....at least IMO...:)

Still haven't read or understood rule 10, I see. Try one more time, perchin; it is rather important that you understand. Rather important. You do not need to be over 50 to understand a simple rule. Try this:

10. If you have questions, concerns, suggestions or complaints about the rules, management or moderation of this site please contact a moderator or iboats management for discussion. It is forbidden to debate these rules or their enforcement in the forum.

Re: New Look

so now are we ever going to get the "my replies" updated?
Now if i search for my posts, they only show me posts made over a year ago.

The way of the future is to subscribe to threads. Just so people know, you have to go into options in the general settings and switch the option to automatically subscribe threads that you reply to.
If not the subscribed threads will have nothing in it.

now i prepare for everyone to jump on me...

Re: New Look

If you "view forum posts" under your user name (or any user name) they are displayed from the most recent to the oldest but, it does not show what has been updated by others....... but they are in order.
