Interesting. First he mentioned that comp was 115-200 across the board. Now he says one has low comp. Shady.

But it's okay cause he says everything else on the motor is "Like New"

Was doing some reading in the Mercruiser section and found this link from DonS. Now that is a real big plus for the I/O guys compared to the price of a like sized new O/B.

Finally a fair comparison. Complete power package versus complete power package. I/O is the clear winner here pricewise based on the outboard prices I've been seeing especially the higher the HP.

I never thought I would hear those works come out of EZ's mouth. You have to admit that leaves a lot of coin for a lot of years of maintainance.

I'd say that it's a light bulb moment for the man but he has known this for many moons. Admitting the IO is obviously the superior driveline is the first step toward recovery. Next step is the embrace.

It's a beautiful thing EZ, embrace it my friend.
