1990 70hp Evinrude Synchronization procedure problems

You do not care about idle timing. On muffs set the idle for 1100 rpm and if you have adjustable carbs set them at 1.5 turns out for a start.

    McCULLOCH not running right

What year is your motor? There was no 45 up in 1957. Does it have dual carbs? Does spark jump a 1/4" air gap? What is your compression? Have you cleaned the carb? Is the fuel pump Diaphragm in good condition? Fuel pump check valves good? And if it actually says McCulloch on the hood it is 64 or...

    SCOTT ATWATER IGNITION COILS

Let me look at mine but I believe OMC coils work you just need to mount them. The 74-76 OMC 9.9/15 coils would probably be the best.

    pull start electric start conversion

The kit is expensive. Your best bet is to find a parts motor I have had good luck finding pontoon motors that people wreck. Most of those have electric start. You will need a ring gear for the flywheel and the starter motor, a solenoid and starter switch. The starter switch is mostly NOS now but...

1986 25 hp Johnson remote start. Small hoses location

Sorry spell check sucks. If you are talking about the primer ,one small nipple goes to the intake and one goes to the carb. Now if you have the third nipple behind the fuel pump. Then you need to tee off one of the smaller lines does not matter which one.

1986 25 hp Johnson remote start. Small hoses location

Fuel in goes to the round piece on the pump. Out goes to the bottom of the carb and that line must be free off to the primer. Or are you resting the primer? Thing with the red lever?

2002 mercury 25 hp tiller two steoke

You may need to adjust the cables. Or somebody pulled the shift out of the lower unit when the water pump was changed. Or when the shift rod linkage broke it the rod popped out of the lower. Or you have bad dog and gears kinda doubtful but it happens. The first one is easy to do the rest requir...

Take the thermostat out (it's on top of the head) and see if water gets up there when you start it?You may...
