Ha, that's what I was wondering..I thought of hypodermic syringes{no...I use some for refilling ink cartridges..lol} but they would be too small...Think you may have saved me again Kev...although it may be next week before I can get back on it, then of course have to wait for it to dry, blah blah blah :D...good thing fishin ain't this complicated ;)

Edit...I cleaned my reading glasses...I thought you said turkey baster

lol..
Not necessary..I like think tanks...or thinking while tanked..or getting tanked with my tank...anyway

YOU have a great Idea, I dabble in cooking and I have used the gallon sized thick zip lock freezer bags with the bottom corner snipped off to squeeze mashed potatoes onto the plate in a fanchy smanchy stuck up kinda way

Any pharmacy will have what looks like a hypodermic (minus the needle) that is used for measuring liquids. The whole would be big emough to squirt the gluvit where you need it.

Odds are they will give it for free. They use it for measuring kids medicines, etc.

pharmacy' s do sell these to give kids liq meds orally, also if you have any feed stores in the area(down here we have suburban feed and ranch hands, they sell all kinds of large hypos for farm animals you can even buy the largest needle to go with it

Anyone know where to find this style of grommet?/cover thingy? This is one from the side of the splashwell, and I wouldn't mind at all if I could find one to match...

Re: 1961 Starcraft - 'The whole' story

Thanks guy's for the tips and links, I have seen the grommets here as this is where I start my searches ;), might help if I measure the opening first tho {lol}.

And how'd I do loading pics of my window work and totally forgot to trim & put the seals back in....this is what you younger guys have to look forward to :D

Think this old body is going to get a little break, nothing but rain forecast thru the middle of next week....actually sat in front of the boob tube all day today, kinda nice for a change....enjoy the evening everyone!

Re: 1961 Starcraft - 'The whole' story

Got the foam in today...over-stuffed it in, then removed/replaced elsewhere as needed when laying in the deck...actually had to take out about 2 inchs of the horizontal stuff and redistribute them closer to the out sides...

Decks in, used #10's inch and a quarter hex head, self tapping screws...counter sunk and smothered with 3M 4200...much easier using a socket adapter on my drill, beats hand wrenching and no chance of snapping them or the drive bits.

The second sheet from the bow is not attached yet, waiting on my seats and pedestals to arrive in the next day or two, and I'll be able to check placement so I can add some beef beneath before finalizing the deck wood.

And now for tomorrows adventure...sanding and prepping for upper paint, going with the smoke gray and a white stripe of some shape or another down the center...time will tell once again...

Hope as is swell as can be...

Great work! Foam and deck look great. Did you fix the leaks? And I forget if you coated the undersides of the deck boards with something.?
