what is the water temp temp up there at temple? or any where on the lake for that matter. if i can make it down want to try tempe bar this year. some nice folks slip there S R there. they come over form cal. and spend a lot of time up there.

Hey Jax

The water temp is 58 and typically drops to an annual low of 54 in Jan. It varies around the lake more during the warm months.

I'll be there again this weekend for 3 days. We're hooking up a separate circuit for our 300# capacity ice machine we call "Mac the Ice" and removing all the carpet in the living and dining rooms to finally install some 'hand scraped' cherry laminate flooring! I'll only be taking a break to watch the 9er game Sat at 2:30 AZ time :D
I know of your friends with the Sea Ray. I've seen them out on the lake. I hope to meet you if you decide to come to TB this summer

will do; if i can make it down. am really wanting to try T B for a stay. wouldn't mind getting away form boulder bay. much more peace and quiet out where you guys are. we always go up there if going to over night or camp

like to swim with the dogs but like the temp to be above 65*. i know i'm a woos.

didn't think i'd miss being on the lake, this much this winter

I just heard today that Decision Island is just that again..no longer a peninsula. It's a really nice sandy beach on the peninsula when the water is down though. Only possible problem is that most of it's open to winds from the north.

Nice truck huh! Me and dad have been working on big red for a long time,big red has over 500hp and then some.

Hello Meader's. I'm in Phoenix and MUST get to Mead, never been there. Any sugestion on a good place to launch a bow rider and a cool beach to setup camp on for a night?

Calville is a great starting point,sandy beach to the north,hoover dam to the south,marina has it all including gas for cars and air too.fried foods and nice store.No lodge though.Plenty of boaters here to be kind too.Bass tournys also launch here.just be ready for the HILL,,,getting smaller by the day now though.

Ok Mead experts, name some good beach camping coves at Mead. Looking for good beaching site for the boat, good place to toss the tent, that sort of stuff.
