countersinking the strips of Starboard for under console base so they’ll sit flat once screwed in place. Note how the poor transom has gotten temporarily transformed into a workbench.

I keep thinking that I’m getting more realistic with making my do-lists but I still never get but a fraction of what I hope to done.
Last weekend was mostly working out the forward bulkhead and measuring and cutting template to follow curve of hull. I got the vertical member in place and made sure it was perpendicular to deck in both dimensions, so I could use it for a reference.

Then measured from it to top and bottom of each faux-strake and cut pattern out of old desk-calendar cardboard, and it seems to fit pretty well. Forgot pic but I’ll get some when I cut it in wood.
