Not to much it ran out for a few minutes after i hooked up to the truck but wasn't running out when it was ssitting level

Hi Guys ,Gal's

Well got a little sanding done on her , And got the another coat of primer on the transom !!!! touched the butt crack with some also !!! LOL

Sanding with the long board , MAN she is really getting flat !!!!!!! Also the waves sire coming right out !! with all the marine texing that I have done , I am still finding little chips !!!!! Not many but a few !!! there getting long boarded and painted !!! lol its been a long road getting here but man she is really turning out nice !!!!! I am going to hit it early !! John

Ps cool Neil, at least she was'nt full flooded !!!!

OHH Ps, guys did get some 2000 grit ordered , I know its over kill from what i was reading that some one didnt go past 600 grit , but this hole thing has been over kill so why stop now !!! LOL john


Pss Mark did you kind your latch yet ??? I have been looking and have'nt see one sence We talked about it !! I swear there was 3 the week before , I almost ordered one !!! LOL I still looking !!!!

NO, No no , on the transom ?????lol are you really positive she is sound ?? can you stand on the out drive and bounce, but really the core sample is the only way !!!! and what You Went threw the floor ?????????? John

No i didn't do a core sample but i did check it over good and i am sure it's solid. As for the floor.............. I didn't go all the way through :D

you still going to wait till next year to fix her ? if your sure the transom is good you probably could get away with it ???John

thinking about doing it next week lol assuming i just need to do the floor not the stringers how much material do you think i would need? the bow area is a step up and feels real solid

Well at least a sheet, maybe two your going to have to measure !!! do you have any poly or epoxy and what about glass it tab it in ??john

Neil what i meant was at least one sheet of plywood maybe two !! you going to do the hole deck ?? and you need to get it drying before you install it !! then you have to seal it !!! then reglass it in !!!John

Hey red thats a nice looking explorer check inside the rear lift gate on the hinges or the pillers for that key less code it would be probably a white sticker with green letters, also it might be writen in the owners manual

I'm figuring on two sheats of plywood what i was wondering about was how much resin and stuff i need?
